The Long Beach Education Foundation and Assistance League of Long Beach are collaborating to raise funds for “One Hour for Education,” a fundraiser that will benefit Operation School Bell. The citizens of Long Beach are asked to contribute one hour of their salary to purchase school uniforms and to support education.

This year, the goal of Assistance League's Operation School Bell program is to clothe 5,700 students.

The fundraising event will run from November 16th and conclude on December 3, 2007.

Donations may be submitted by check or credit card by completing the donation form at:

• Checks made payable to Long Beach Education Foundation, with a notation "One Hour for Education," may also be mailed to or dropped off at Long Beach Education Foundation, One Hour for Education, 1515 Hughes Way, Long Beach 90810.

• For credit card donations, please complete the donation form and mail it to Long Beach Education Foundation.
